My family's passion for deer hunting runs deep, so I would not put my stamp of approval, suggest or give my recommendation on a hunt unless it was first class. God has blessed me with the opportunity to hunt in some of the greatest whitetail habitat throughout the Midwest, Canada and the Northeast. I can say without reservation that this was among one of the best hunts I've been on. Everything is done right, the facilities are top notch, the deer that I saw were incredible and the people make you feel like family. The only issue you may have is actually finding an open week to book!! Which is a testament to the quality of the hunts they offer.

Last fall, I had the opportunity to hunt with Big Tine Outfitters, and I can honestly say the experience was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish.
The owners and staff clearly take tremendous pride in managing their deer herd and property. There was no shortage of mature bucks, and the buck-to-doe ratio seemed spot on. I had the chance to see several true “shooter” bucks during my hunt. The quality of animals on this property is impressive and a direct reflection of their disciplined management practices and long-term vision.
The lodge itself is beautiful, clean, and extremely well maintained. The food was fantastic and plentiful—exactly what you hope for after long hours in the stand.
What truly sets Big Tine apart, though, is the people. The owner makes you feel genuinely welcome from the moment you arrive. It’s obvious he takes great pride in providing a top-tier experience. He even spent time in the stand with me, my brother, and my 87-year-old father. You could see how much he enjoyed watching all of us have such a memorable hunt. That personal investment means a lot.
My guide, Bob, was outstanding. A genuinely great guy who clearly cares about his hunters and the property. I asked a ton of questions while we were in the stand, and he was eager to share insights about their management practices and the vision he and the owner have for the land. His passion for producing world-class animals and maintaining the integrity of the property was obvious.
All in all, this was a first-class experience. While no hunt is ever guaranteed, if you’re looking for a legitimate opportunity at a true world-class whitetail buck, Big Tine Outfitters is the place to go. You’ll have a fantastic chance at taking the buck of a lifetime.
